Mindy Green
HRF Director of Education

With 28 years of experience in the natural products industry, Mindy Green specializes in the use of herbs and essential oils for health and beauty, with a focus on education services. Mindy has conducted countless seminars, classes, and training programs for the public and professionals, and has provided more than 400 interviews to leading magazines and newspapers on the subject of herbs and health. She is co-author of Aromatherapy, A Complete Guide to the Healing Art andauthor of Calendula, Natural Perfumes, and All About Aromatherapy. She has written numerous articles and has collaborated on several other books on botanicals.

Mindy was co-director and a faculty member of the California School of Herbal Studies for 10 years, and is currently on the faculty of the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies in Boulder, CO. A licensed massage therapist and esthetician with years of experience in the natural skin care industry, she has founded and owned several herb and essential oil businesses. She is a founding member of the American Herbalists Guild and associate editor of the American Herb Association Newsletter. She serves on the education committees of the Aromatherapy Registration Council and the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists. Mindy holds a bachelor’s degree in Holistic Health Sciences and a master’s in Health and Human Services from Columbia Pacific University.
