Industry alliance formed to increase research and education on
supplements
Ten major supplement companies have united as the Corporate Alliance
for Integrative Medicine, a non-profit corporation that will focus on
founding research programs at major American universities. The group
will also develop educational programs directed at medical professionals
and consumers. Members include Natrol, East Earth Herbs, Rexall Sundown,
Pure World/Madis Botanicals, Nature's Way, Nature's Herbs, Botanicals
International, NuSkin, Nutraceutical Inc, and Weider Nutrition International.
