Folexco and East Earth Herb form largest botanical extract manufacturer
in US
On April 23, Folexco announced that it had acquired a controlling percentage
of East Earth Herb stock. Based in Montgomeryville, PA, Folexco is a
well established producer of extracts and flavors. The company is a
member of the AM Todd Group of Kalamazoo, MI, which has annual sales
of roughly $300 million. Eugene, OR-based East Earth Herb has been supplying
botanical extracts to the dietary supplement industry for nearly 30
years. The company reports sales of $15 million annually. East Earth
Herb CEO Peggy Breevort will serve as president for the joint enterprise,
and Folexco President and CEO David Wilson will be the new CEO.
