Chinese researchers collaborate with International Traditional Chinese Medicine Center.

On January 18, representatives from the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology met with officials from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Health System, faculty members from the University of Pittsburgh, and local foundations to discuss the development of scientific and clinical standards for TCM. Chinese universities and research institutes will partner with the International TCM Center, Pittsburgh's newly created drug development initiative. Research teams are currently evaluating prospective TCM cancer treatments.
