USP botanical monographs published for preview in Pharmacopeial Forum. |

| Preview monographs for garlic and ginkgo and a revised version of ginger were slated for publication in the March/April issue; ginseng and feverfew will appear in the May/June issue. Preview monographs for valerian and powdered valerian were published in the January/February issue, and monographs on several other frequently used herbs are being developed. The monographs contain guidelines on herb use, precautions and side effects. | ||
